1. Important Notice

AMOE is only available for Promotions whose Official Rules include AMOE. If a Promotion's Official Rules do not offer AMOE, you cannot use AMOE for that Promotion.

If there is any conflict between this page and the Official Rules, the Official Rules control.

2. What AMOE Is

AMOE stands for Alternative Method of Entry. It is a free mail-in entry method that allows eligible participants to earn Promotion entries without making a purchase.

  • No purchase increases your chances of winning.
  • Each eligible entry has the same chance of winning per entry, subject to eligibility, caps, and verification.

3. Eligibility

To submit AMOE entries, you must meet all eligibility requirements in the applicable Promotion's Official Rules, including but not limited to:

  • Age: 18+ (or age of majority in your state, whichever is higher)
  • Residency/Jurisdiction: Only where the Promotion is offered and not prohibited
  • One person / one account: Monway may verify identity and enforce caps and anti-fraud rules

Monway may deny entries or prizes where prohibited by law or where identity/residency cannot be verified.

4. AMOE Entry Value and Limits (Default Rules)

Unless the Official Rules for a specific Promotion state otherwise, these default AMOE rules apply:

Each valid AMOE submission = 40 entries for the identified Promotion/Drawing/State Pot.

Limit: 1 AMOE submission per person per day.

Monthly Cap: Entries earned by AMOE count toward the Monthly State Cap (default 1,000 entries per calendar month per state/jurisdiction, across all entry methods).

Entries beyond applicable caps are void.

5. How to Submit an AMOE Entry (Step-by-Step)

Step A: Get the Promotion Details

Before mailing anything, find the Promotion's Official Rules and note:

  • Promotion name
  • Promotion Period and deadlines
  • Eligible states/jurisdictions and any restrictions
  • Required "State Pot" selection (if applicable)

Step B: Prepare One Mailpiece Per Person

You must submit one (1) person per mailpiece. Multiple entries/cards in one envelope are not allowed and will be void.

Use either:

  • A postcard, or
  • A plain envelope containing one handwritten entry card

Step C: Handwrite Your AMOE Entry

Your AMOE must be hand-printed.

Typed, printed, photocopied, stamped, label-based, or mechanically reproduced entries are void.

Step D: Include All Required Information

Your entry must be legible and accurate. Missing/incorrect information can invalidate the submission.

Required (mandatory):

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Residential Address (street, city, state, ZIP)
  • Email Address (valid)
  • Phone Number
  • Exact Promotion/Drawing Name (as listed in the Official Rules)
  • Selected State/Jurisdiction (if applicable)

Optional (recommended):

  • Monway Account ID / Username (if you have one)

Step E: Mail It To The AMOE Address

Mail your completed AMOE entry to:

Monway Portal – AMOE

Attn: AMOE Processing

2933 Sunstone St, Las Vegas, 89128

Nevada/USA

Do not send cash, receipts, or purchase documents with AMOE entries.

6. Deadlines (Read This, Seriously)

AMOE entries must meet the deadlines in the applicable Official Rules.

  • Your entry must be postmarked by the stated postmark deadline, and
  • received by the stated receipt deadline.

Proof of mailing is not proof of receipt. Monway is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or postage-due mail.

7. Processing, Records, and Verification

  • AMOE submissions become Sponsor administrative records upon receipt and will not be returned.
  • Monway may retain AMOE submissions for compliance, audit, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.
  • Monway may verify identity, residency, and eligibility. Entries may be rejected if verification fails or if the submission violates Official Rules or these instructions.

8. Anti-Abuse Policy

Monway may void AMOE submissions that appear to be abusive or violate the integrity of Promotions, including:

  • Mass-produced or coordinated submissions
  • Automated or mechanically reproduced handwriting
  • Attempts to evade caps or identity verification
  • Multiple entries in one envelope
  • Any suspicious patterns indicating fraud or manipulation

9. Winner Selection, Claiming, and Taxes

Submitting AMOE entries does not change the winner selection method. Winners are selected according to the Official Rules and are subject to verification.

  • Winners may be required to complete identity verification and submit tax forms (e.g., W-9/W-8).
  • Winners are responsible for applicable taxes. Sponsor may withhold or report as required by law.
