1. Important Notice

For any chance-based Promotion in which eligible participants may receive promotional entries through Monway app activity, merchant-related activity, receipt submission, check-in activity, engagement activity, or any other activity that may be connected to a merchant, product, service, purchase, or consumer transaction, Monway provides a free mail-in Alternative Method of Entry (“AMOE”) unless the Promotion is excluded, redesigned, or restricted by law.

No purchase, payment, receipt, smartphone, mobile device, app download, merchant transaction, or in-app activity is required to enter or win. Eligible participants who do not want to use the Monway app, do not have access to a smartphone or mobile device, or do not wish to participate in app-based activities may enter for free by using the mail-in AMOE described on this page.

AMOE for Monway Promotions is mail-in only. Free app-based participation methods, if offered for a Promotion, are separate from AMOE and are governed by the applicable Promotion's Official Rules and Promotion Details.

All valid entries, regardless of entry method, are treated equally and have the same chance of winning per entry, subject to eligibility requirements, entry limits, caps, deadlines, verification, and the applicable Promotion's Official Rules.

If there is any conflict between this page and a Promotion's Official Rules, the Official Rules control.

2. What AMOE Is

AMOE stands for Alternative Method of Entry. It is a free mail-in entry method that lets eligible participants receive promotional entries without making a purchase, submitting a receipt, completing a merchant transaction, downloading or using the Monway app, using a smartphone or mobile device, or participating in app-based activities.

AMOE is the free non-app method of entry for Monway Promotions. Free app-based participation methods may also be available for certain Promotions, but those methods are separate from AMOE.

  • No purchase, payment, receipt, merchant transaction, smartphone, mobile device, app download, or in-app activity is required to enter or win.
  • No purchase is necessary, and a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
  • Each eligible entry has the same chance of winning per entry, regardless of entry method, subject to eligibility, caps, deadlines, verification, and the applicable Promotion's Official Rules.

3. Eligibility

To submit AMOE entries, you must meet all eligibility requirements in the applicable Promotion's Official Rules and Promotion Details, including:

  • Age: You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority in your state of residence, whichever is higher.
  • Residency / Jurisdiction: You must be a legal resident of an eligible jurisdiction where the Promotion is offered and not prohibited or restricted by law.
  • Identity and eligibility: Monway may verify identity, age, residency, account status, and eligibility before accepting entries or awarding any prize.
  • Entry limits: AMOE entries count toward the same entry limits and caps that apply to the Promotion.

Monway may deny entries or prizes where prohibited by law, where eligibility cannot be verified, or where a submission violates the Official Rules, Promotion Details, or these AMOE instructions.

4. AMOE Entry Value and Limits

Unless the Official Rules or Promotion Details for a specific Promotion state otherwise, these default AMOE rules apply:

Each valid mail-in AMOE submission receives fifty (50) entries for the identified Promotion, drawing, and State Pot.

Limit: one (1) mail-in AMOE submission per person per day.

Entry cap: AMOE entries count toward the same entry cap as all other entry methods. The default cap is 1,000 entries per person per calendar month per eligible state or jurisdiction, across all entry methods.

Entries above the applicable cap are void.

AMOE entries have the same chance of winning per entry as all other valid eligible entries in the same drawing pool.

5. How to Submit a Mail-In AMOE Entry

Step A — Review the Promotion Details

Before mailing an AMOE submission, review the applicable Promotion's Official Rules and Promotion Details. You will need the exact Promotion name, eligible state or jurisdiction, Promotion Period, AMOE postmark deadline, AMOE received-by deadline, and any other required information.

Step B — Prepare One Mailpiece Per Person

Submit one (1) person per mailpiece. Use either:

  • a postcard; or
  • a plain envelope containing one handwritten entry card.

Multiple entries, multiple people, or multiple cards in one envelope are not allowed and may be void.

Step C — Hand-Print Your Entry

Your AMOE submission must be hand-printed and legible.

Typed, printed, photocopied, stamped, label-based, mechanically reproduced, automated, bulk-generated, or illegible submissions may be void.

Step D — Include All Required Information

Your AMOE submission must include the following information:

  • First name;
  • Last name;
  • Date of birth;
  • Residential street address;
  • City, state, and ZIP code;
  • Valid email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Exact Promotion name;
  • Selected eligible State Pot or jurisdiction;
  • Monway username or account ID, if available.

Missing, false, incomplete, inconsistent, or illegible information may cause the AMOE submission to be rejected or voided.

Step E — Mail It to the AMOE Address

Mail your completed AMOE submission to:

Monway Portal – AMOE

Attn: AMOE Processing

2933 Sunstone St

Las Vegas, NV 89128

USA

Do not send cash, checks, money orders, gift cards, receipts, purchase documents, payment information, product proof, or any prohibited enclosure with an AMOE submission.

6. Deadlines

AMOE submissions must meet the deadlines stated in the applicable Promotion's Official Rules or Promotion Details.

Unless the applicable Promotion's Official Rules or Promotion Details state otherwise, AMOE submissions must be:

  • postmarked by the stated AMOE postmark deadline; and
  • received by the stated AMOE received-by deadline.

Proof of mailing is not proof of receipt. Monway is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, postage-due, stolen, destroyed, or undelivered mail.

7. Prohibited Enclosures

Do not send cash, checks, money orders, gift cards, receipts, purchase documents, payment information, hazardous materials, perishable items, illegal items, or any other prohibited or restricted materials with AMOE submissions.

AMOE submissions must contain only the information required by the applicable Promotion's Official Rules, Promotion Details, and these AMOE instructions. Sending cash, receipts, purchase documents, payment information, hazardous materials, perishable items, illegal items, or any other prohibited enclosure will not improve the sender's chances of winning and may result in the AMOE submission being rejected, voided, or disqualified.

Any prohibited enclosure received with an AMOE submission may be documented and retained with the submission as part of Sponsor's administrative records. Monway is not responsible for returning prohibited enclosures. Where Monway determines that an enclosure may be hazardous, unsafe, illegal, perishable, suspicious, or otherwise inappropriate to retain, Monway may handle, secure, dispose of, destroy, or report the item to postal authorities, law enforcement, emergency responders, or other appropriate authorities, as permitted or required by law.

8. Processing, Records, and Verification

  • AMOE submissions and related materials become Sponsor administrative records upon receipt and will not be returned, except where Monway determines that return is legally required or otherwise appropriate.
  • Monway may retain AMOE submissions and related records for compliance, audit, dispute resolution, tax, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Monway may verify identity, age, residency, account status, and eligibility. Entries may be rejected, voided, or disqualified if verification fails or if the submission violates the Official Rules, Promotion Details, these AMOE instructions, or applicable law.

9. Anti-Abuse Policy

Monway may reject, void, or disqualify AMOE submissions that appear abusive, fraudulent, manipulated, or inconsistent with the integrity of a Promotion, including:

  • mass-produced, coordinated, automated, or mechanically reproduced submissions;
  • typed, printed, photocopied, stamped, label-based, or bulk-generated submissions;
  • attempts to evade entry caps, identity verification, residency requirements, or eligibility rules;
  • multiple entries, multiple people, or multiple cards in one envelope;
  • false, incomplete, inconsistent, or misleading information;
  • suspicious submission patterns;
  • submissions connected to fraud, manipulation, or abuse.

Monway may take reasonable steps to protect Promotion integrity, including rejecting submissions, voiding entries, suspending accounts, withholding prizes, requiring additional verification, and taking other actions permitted by the applicable Official Rules and law.

10. Winner Selection, Claiming, and Taxes

Submitting AMOE entries does not change the winner-selection method. Winners are selected according to the applicable Promotion's Official Rules and Promotion Details.

Potential winners are subject to verification before any prize is awarded. Winners may be required to complete identity verification, eligibility verification, tax documentation, payment documentation, affidavits, releases, or other claim materials.

Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, local, and other taxes, fees, and reporting obligations. Sponsor may withhold, report, or issue tax forms as required by law.
